Abstract:
The valuable aromatic rice varieties in Henan were used as experimental materials,the main metabolic substances in the grains of 16 rice varieties (aromatic and non-aromatic rice) were detected and analyzed by the improved gas chromatography-mass spectrometer (GC-MS) technology.The results showed that the improved GC-MS technology could be used to detect the main metabolic substances in rice grains.Fifteen kinds of main metabolites were detected in the grains of the tested aromatic rice varieties,and their contents were varied in the different aromatic rice varieties in Henan province.Furthermore,it was found that there were 5 kinds of common metabolites in the grain of aromatic rice varieties in Henan province,including cyclopentasiloxane,oxirane,cyclohexasiloxane,dodecane and phenol,which may be involved in the disease resistance of aromatic rice varieties.
