Abstract:
A new compound,Zn(L)
3(NO
3)
2 (
1), was synthesized by 1,4-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene (L) and Zn(NO
3)
2·6H
2O under hydrothermal condition. The structure was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, single crystal X-ray diffraction, and powder X-ray diffraction. The results showed that tile compound exhibited a triply interpenetrating three-dimensional (3D) framework with triclinic system, space group P-1. The central ion Zn(Ⅱ) could be regarded as six-connected node, which was bridged by the neutral ligand L to form a α-Po (pcu) network with positive charges. In addition, the photoluminescence property in the solid state and thermal analysis of compound 1 were also investigated.
