Abstract:
For studying single pipe freezing induced environmental effect with water-heat-stress coupling consideration and ensuring the safety of construction, the theoretical formula of the single pipe freezing with water-heat-stress coupling were deduced, and the derived formula were re-developed with ANASYS numerical software. Then the numerical simulation results were compared and analyzed. It was showed that:the numerical simulated frozen wall thickness was 1.5 m, the max tension stress 0.39 MPa, and the max compression stres 0.2 MPa, respectively. The numerical simulated results were well in accordance with the real engineering measured results. The max and the min shearing stress of the freezing wall were 0.36 MPa and -0.27 MPa, respectively. The max freezing displacement was 4.15 cm, which was larger than the real engineering measured result. It was revealed that the numerical simulation was effective and the relevant results could be used by similar projects as reference.
