Abstract:
The next generation digital subscriber line (NG-DSL) technology will be the most important high speed access technology in the future. NG-DSL will use orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology with more subcarriers and high level Quadrature Amplitude Modulation, which has more strict requirements of signal synchronization. A new sampling frequency synchronization algorithm was proposed:a fast synchronization algorithm based on iterative. This new sampling frequency synchronization algorithm can use less symbol converging to close to the true value quickly by iterative method, this algorithm also revises the formulation of sampling frequency estimation by traditional methods to reduce the computational complexity. Finally, the comprehensive performances of new algorithm were compared in simulation analysis. The results indicated that the proposed algorithm in this paper has high precision, low complexity and fast synchronization and can well fit the requirements of NG-DSL system.
