Abstract:
A new compound 1 based on fluorene-9-bisphenol derivative was designed and synthesized which could form an organogel in toluene. The self-assembly process of compound 1 was characterized by UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and contact angle. The experiment results showed that a smooth-faced membrane structure was obtained in the self-assembly process which had some hydrophobilities with the contact angle of 106°. The hydrogen bond was the main driving force for the formation of gel system.
