Abstract: The spatial-temporal change in Sichuan Province Dataset of the farmland ecosystem in 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2010 were collected and processed by utilizing comprehensixe indicator method and gravity centers curve in ArcGIS environmet. The results showed:the spatial-temporal characteristics of farm ecosystem changed a lot,the extent of farmland ecosystem kept decreasing in general, with slight fluctuation,the change of regional types were obvious,the increased-active areas and the balanced-active areas decreased, while the decreased-active areas and the changed-slowed areas increased. The distribution of regional types tended to be simple and single,the centroid position of the ecosystem in each period changed with quite slight displacement distance and angle.
