Abstract:
Four constructed wetlands of different scales from one district in Shanghai were selected to research the removal effect of contaminant and pathogenic bacteria in the systems all year round. In the condition of stable operation, seasonal variation has little influence on the removal effect of TP, total bacterial count and fecal coliforms, however, it has great influence on the removal effect of COD
Cr and NH
3-N. The four systems had steady removal efficiencies for COD
Cr, NH
3-N, TP, total bacterial count and fecal coliforms, the effluents had reached the level 1 B standard of GB18918-2002.
