Abstract:
Based on the Chaoying small watershed, the efficiency of runoff and sediment reduction on different mode of hedgerow was studied using the standard runoff plots method. The runoff plots include:
ryegrass, the combination of
ryegrass and
trifolium repens, trifolium repens, the combination of
orchardgrass and
filbert, the combination of
orchardgrass and
fagopyrum dibotrys and
akebiaquinata, and five runoff plots were contrasted with
corn field of runoff plots in order to revel the characteristics of runoff and sediment reduction under the hedgerow in stony desertification region. The results were showed:(1) Every hedgerow had a positive efficient on runoff and sediment reduction in karst plateau area, but the combination of
orchardgrass and
fagopyrum dibotrys and
akebiaquinata had the best effect on runoff and sediment reduction; (2) The order of runoff and
sediment reduction amount of different plots from big to small was
trifolium repens, ryegrass, the combination of
orchardgrass and
filbert, the combination of
ryegrass and
trifolium repens, the combination of
orchardgrass andfagopyrum dibotrys and
akebiaquinata; (3) Compared to the control, the combined mode hedgerow (the combination of
orchardgrass and
fagopyrum dibotrys and
akebiaquinata, the combination of
orchardgrass and
filbert, the combination of
ryegrass and
trifolium repens) were significantly better than single mode hedgerow (
ryegrass, trifolium repens) on benefiting in runoff and sediment reduction.
