Abstract: By the non-linear transformation to the observation sample, the modified sub-carrier and sub-band based modulation identification algorithms for OFDM system were presented. The effect of frequency offsets on the performance of the maximum likelihood identification algorithm was eliminated by the transformation. The simulation results showed that the algorithm had better performance as the normalize frequency offsets was less than 0.15.
