Abstract: Based on the study of the edge-balance index sets, the vertex-balanced index sets of nested graphs Cn×Pm(n≥3,m=2,3) were investigated. Using new techniques of combinatorial design, the vertex-balanced index sets of nested graphs Cn×Pm were determined, where m=2,3 and n≥3.
