Abstract:
To establish a HPLC method for simultaneously determination the content of four kinds of catechins (EGCG,EC,ECG,EGC) from leaves in Guizhou-tea.Chromatographic separation was performed with ultimate XB-C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm) by using the mobile phase gradient elution of methanol-0.1% phosphoric acid mixture,the flow rate is 1 mLmin-1,the column temperature is 35℃ and the detection wavelength is 278 nm.Under the optimum condition, four catechins(EGCG,EC,ECG and EGC) were separated and determined.This developed method was successfully used to measure and analyze four catechins in Guizhou-Tea.The averagerecoveries were 98.4%~102.00%,all the correlation coefficients of regression equation of each component is above 0.999 96.
