Abstract:
A novel method for the extraction and separation of Hg(Ⅱ) in Rhodamine B-NaCl-n-propanol system was developed. The effects of concentrations of Rhodamine B, NaCl,n-propanoland acidity etc on the extraction of Hg(Ⅱ) have been investigated. The possible extraction separation mechanism of Hg(Ⅱ) was discussed. When the concentrations of Rhodamine B, NaCl and n-propanol in solution were 0.27 g/L,160 g/L and 30 %(V/V), respectively, Hg(Ⅱ) could be quantitatively separated from Pb(Ⅱ), Zn(Ⅱ), Ir(Ⅳ), Ni(Ⅱ), Ag(Ⅰ), Rh(Ⅲ), Cu(Ⅱ), Cr(III), Mg(Ⅱ), Fe(Ⅲ), Al(Ⅲ) and Co(Ⅱ) by extraction, and values of extraction percentage of Hg(Ⅱ) were over 98.0%.
