Abstract:
A comprehensive evaluation of the urbanization levels and ecological environment effects in 18 cities of Henan province was made by the entropy method, and then the spatial relation between urbanization and ecological environment effects on the basis of the evaluation results was discussed by spatial statistical analysis and GIS technologies. The results showed that: 1) there were significant spatial differences between the regional urbanization levels and ecological environment effects in 2012, which appeared to be an obvious negative correlation; 2) through analyses of spatial autocorrelation and spatial relevance, the characters of agglomeration in similar regions were presented obviously between regional urbanization and ecological environment effects; 3) the relation between regional urbanization and ecological environment response of Henan province in 2012 was divided into 5 types by the use of the K-Means cluster analysis method
