Abstract:
The ultrasonic nebulization extraction coupled with solid-phase extraction (UNE-SPE) followed by gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was developed and applied to extract and determine the volatile compounds from foeniculum vulgare mill. Experimental parameters, including the kind of extraction solvent (n-tetradecane), solvent volume (50 μL), flow rate of purging gas (200 mL/min) and purging time (5 min), were examined and optimized. The contents of the constituents from foeniculum vulgare mill obtained by the proposed method were closed to those obtained by hydro-distillation (HD). The recoveries for determining the four constituents are between 65.8%~102.0% and RSDs are less than 8.0%
