Abstract:
A whole three-dimensional finite element model of the soil nailed supporting structure for deep foundation pit was established by using the nonlinear finite element software ADINA. The axial forces of soil nails, the horizontal displacement of excavation face, the subsidence displacement of the ground behind the foundation pit and the bottom heave displacement were studied. The results showed that the axial force of central part soil nails is the biggest, the horizontal displacement at the top of excavation face is the biggest, the subsidence displacement curve of the ground behind the foundation pit is in the shape of “spoon” and the position of maximum subsidence displacement value and the edge of the foundation pit distance is about 1 times the excavation depth in the pure soil nailed supporting structure.
