Abstract:
The water absorbing-retention composite of flyash/starch was prepared by ultrasonic assisted. The influence factors to the absorbancy, which included fly ash, starch, crosslinker, initiator and degree of neutralization, were investigated. The structure of the samples was characterized by X-ray diffraction and infrared spectroscope. The results showed that there are strong chemical interactions of ionic crosslinking polymerization between fly ash, starch and acrylic. When the amount of fly ash, starch, crosslinker and initiator, accounting for 10%, 5%, 0.11%, 0.20% of the monomer mass, the neutralization degree is 80%,the reaction temperature is 80 ℃,the absorbancy of the composite to tap water and 0.9%NaCl solution is 571.6 g/g and 74.5 g/g respectively
