Abstract:
Acid modified fly ash was prepared through microwave-assisted with hydrochloric acid. Its microstructure was characterized by SEM and FTIR,and its adsorption performance to reactive brilliant red was determinated by spectrophotometry. The results showed that acid modified fly can be used as adsorbent obtained under the dosage of hydrochloric acid 4 mL/g,microwave power 400 W,modification time 10 min,and its decolorization rate to reactive brilliant red reached over 96.6%,when the mass of adsorbent was 26 g/L,waste water pH was 9,adsorption time was 60 min
