Abstract:
To investigate the effect of hypoxia and/or exercise intervention on blood lipid metabolism of diet-induced obese rats, SPF-grade healthly male Sprague-Dawley rats were fed high fat forage to establish the obese model. Then the obese model were subjected to hypoxia exposure in normobaric hypoxic tent simulating and/or exercise on a motor-driven rodent treadmill for 4 weeks. Results showed that the combined effects of hypoxia and exercise is more effective than only hypoxia or only exercise in improving blood lipid metabolism in diet-induced obese rats
