Abstract:
In plants, beta-glucosidase (BGLU) is involved in many important physiological processes, including the release of chemicals to resist external invasion, the lignification of cell walls, the activation of plant hormones and plant secondary metabolism. The 42 genes of soybean BGLU family were identified using soybean genome database. The gene characteristics, protein structure, phylogenetic evolution, chromosome localization, promoter regulatory elements and expression patterns of the family members were analyzed comprehensively. These results will provide important genetic information for the future function study of BGLU family genes in soybean.
