Measuring the Modulus of Elasticity of a Metal Wire with Capacitive Displacement Sensors

  • 摘要: 针对传统测量弹性模量方法存在的局限,提出了一种新的用电容位移传感器测量金属丝弹性模量的方法.详细介绍了测量原理、测量装置和测量过程,给出了测量结果,并讨论了影响测量误差的主要因素及减小测量误差的具体措施.选用钢丝作为具体测量对象,测量结果与材料手册中给出的结果吻合.本测量方法较传统测量方法有更高的测量精度,可用于测量多种金属丝的弹性模量.

     

    Abstract: In order to overcome the limitations of common methods for measuring modulus of elasticity(Young's modulus),a novel method for measuring the modulus of elasticity of a metal wire with capacitive displacement sensors is presented.The measurement principle,apparatus,and manipulation are introduced,the testing results given,and the errors in measurement discussed.The measured value is consistent with that given in relevant tables.The method has some advantages over conventional methods and can be used for measuring the modulus of elasticity of various metal wires
