Abstract: It was summarized that the new progress in the study on purified bentonite, activated bentonite, modified bentonite by cation-exchang reaction, preparation of organo-bentonite and pillared montmorillionite and polymer/montmorillionite nanocomposites, using bentonite to synthesize molecular sieves and bentone-catalyst in detail.
