摘要: Web GIS是网络时代 GIS发展的趋势 .本文介绍了 Web GIS的特点、实现技术 ;并对 Web GIS研究中的 GML、Open GIS、空间数据库、分布式对象技术等主要发展趋势和前沿应用进行了重点论述 .

Abstract: WebGIS is a new technology based on Internet. The characteristic and implementing technology of WebGIS are introduced. And development trend and new application of WebGIS such as: GML, OpenGIS, spatial database,distributed object computing are discussed.
