Abstract: In recent years,the fluorometry with quantum dots as the label has been attracting widely attention among investigators both here and abroad,especially the application of quantum dots in life science.But the determining methods,with quantum dots as luminescent probes,of ions and small molecule compounds are still on the first stage.In this article we will make a summary review on the optical properties,preparation of quantum dots,and their research progress and application prospect in chemical analysis.
