Abstract:
Bentonite supported N/Ag Co-doped TiO
2 photocatalyst was prepared by sol-gel method with silver nitrate, four butyl titanate and urea as the main raw materials. The crystal phase and doping composition of the samples were characterized by XRD, XPS, SEM, TEM and EDS, and the degradation experiments of methylene blue solution were carried out under visible light. The results show that nitrogen exists in the form of chemical bonds in the lattice of TiO
2, and Ag exists in the form of monodisperse nanoparticles. The specific surface area of the catalyst reaches 49.3 m
2/g. The catalyst prepared by calcination at 400℃ had the best degradation effect on 15 mg/L methylene blue at a dosage of 2.0 g/L and illumination time of 50 min, and the degradation rate reached 99.2%.
